C2 is the largest independent imaging firm in California.
A history of service…
C2 Imaging had humble beginnings as a single Copy Club shop in Orange, California which opened in early 2001. After 22 years, 11 moves, and 3 kids in the corporate world, Gary and his wife Julie decided they wanted to live in Southern California for the rest of their lives, raise their children, and become entrepreneurs.
The Crisps loved the idea of providing a customer-friendly alternative to Kinko’s. Their vision was to be a real family-owned business that would provide exceptional customer service throughout Orange County and Southern California. They envisioned themselves not only able to serve the community through their company, but also in giving back as business owners, a key driver of their philanthropy that remains to this day.
A few months after Copy Club had opened its doors, customers kept asking them if they could print reprographics. They realized that they had opened a digital services business in the hotbed of Architects, Engineers and Construction companies that is Southern California. They switched gears to serve the market and create real vendor choice, deciding to de-franchise and created their own name, C2 Reprographics, named after Gary and his wife Julie.
Those days were quite different from what C2 has become today, the largest independent imaging company in California selling reprographics, color services, and technology solutions. Julie and Gary put everything they had into the business, investing most of their savings and often working around the clock. In those days, Julie did the books, they both did the selling and Gary solicited the investors and local businessmen who helped C2 Imaging become what it is today. Slowly their hard work began to pay off, and they started to grow rapidly.
With the evolution of the reprographics industry moving towards less printing, more technology, and digital solutions, in 2014 C2 Reprographics changed its name to C2 Imaging. Today, C2 Imaging has eight locations throughout Southern California in Orange, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties, has 126 employees, and fifty cars to serve its customers. C2’s “Customer Driven Culture” makes customer service its #1 priority at all times by understanding what your needs are and exceeding your expectations.
Our mission at C2 Imaging is “to serve customers better than they have ever been served before.” Our vision “is to be the premier imaging company in the world by providing for our customer’s exceptional quality and service, leading edge technology, and uncompromising value. At the core of C2’s philosophy is its “Customer Driven Culture” which is illustrated to the right. We believe at C2 that we really all work for our customers. Every “touch point” whether it is a product, service, an interaction with a driver, or even your billing statement should be a positive experience and reflect exceptional customer service.
As the great Sir Richard Branson once said “Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients.” Our “Win Forever” philosophy illustrates what working at C2 is all about. Grounded in Faith, Integrity, and Courage, we strive to create a culture in which our employees are motivated to do their best, and become the best version of themselves. This is accomplished through the understanding that we at C2 are one and each decision affects other parts of the team. We are respectful and positive with one another and expect to win each and every day. Our culture is all about teamwork, which at its core is love for one another, which is seen in how we communicate with each other, trust one another, and ultimately have confidence in one another to do the right thing every time.

Gary Crisp, President, CEO, and Founder of C2
Gary Crisp is the President, CEO, and Founder of C2, the largest privately owned imaging firm in Southern California. Gary and his wife Julie built their business by focusing on superior customer service, treating employees with dignity and respect, increasing shareholder value, and serving as a pillar in the community. Gary’s business success has enabled him to pursue his compassion for helping others through his own initiatives and many Southern California charities.
Gary was born in south-side Chicago where his Polish mother and German father taught him the neighborly, family-oriented values of the Midwest. As a young adolescent, his love affair with the Golden State began when he moved with his parents and four brothers to the Northern California town of San Rafael. After ten years in Marin, his family moved to Southern California in 1972. A natural athlete, he soon took to high school basketball at La Quinta High School in Westminster. Sports served as the launching ground for his leadership skills, the confidence he developed there later led to him running and becoming Senior Class President.
After graduating from high school he stayed close to home, choosing to study at California State University Long Beach. A college job selling furniture at Woolco first piqued his interest in business – upon college graduation Gary joined Lever Brothers Corporation, the start of nineteen successful years as a marketing and sales executive for two Fortune 100 companies. Gary’s leadership skills led to early success with Unilever’s consumer product division and a District Managers position by his 25th birthday. While at Unilever, he was also recognized as an “Award Winning District Manager.” From Unilever he moved to PepsiCo’s Frito Lay division where he excelled as a marketer overseeing $487 million in annual sales and a unit restructuring.
Although Crisp enjoys a successful business career, his passions are truly found in helping others. Recently, he started a cause-related media property “Real Guys” that focuses on helping men, particularly inner city, at-risk men. Real Guys explores the problems that plague many young men today with the hope of raising awareness and creating actionable, education-oriented programs at the grassroots level.
For the past eight years, Gary and his wife of 33 years Julie have hosted active-duty and retired members of the armed forces at their home and most recently at American Legion Post 291 in Newport Beach. Last year they had over 450 people attend their Super Bowl Extravaganza. The Crisps and C2 Imaging support numerous charities and educational institutions throughout Southern California, including Catholic education, Verbum Dei High School in Watts Work-Study program, Orange County Foundation on Business and Ethics, Human Options Domestic Abuse Shelter, Tides of Change, Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, USC, Real Guys Foundation, United States Marine Corps, Purple Heart Fund, Wounded Warriors, and The Men of Character Awards which Gary was a recipient in 2013 for Orange County, to mention a few. Gary has served on the board of Legatus, (a group for Catholic CEO’s and Presidents), The Undefeated (whose mission is celebrating champions of perseverance through supporting the Special Olympics), and is a member of the USC Athletic Board. Gary’s greatest achievement is his enduring marriage to Julie and his three children Courtney, Carter, and Caroline.
